The fillable keepsake compartment is revealed, after the threaded top is twisted from the pendant. This pendant can be worn without any keepsake in the compartment. Though, if you decide you want to place a keepsake in the compartment, some examples of keepsakes are burial site soil, cremains, crushed dried memorial service flowers, or a tiny hair clipping. A keepsake could also be a few grains of sand from their favorite beach or part of a finely shredded concert/play ticket/scorecard your loved one enjoyed for a band/play/sport. After filling the compartment, please follow the instructions included in the purchase of the pendant and glue, to seal the compartment. This pendant cannot be engraved.
