This sterling silver ichthus (fish) keepsake pendant would be a special tribute to your Christian loved one. The ichthus is an early Christian symbol. It also the Greek word for fish. This pendant has a slide opening in which the chain is placed in one opening, passed through the body, then exits the opposite side of the pendant. The threaded screw is on the back. Once the screw is removed, the keepsake storage compartment is revealed. Some examples of some keepsakes to remember your loved one are a tiny hair clipping, crushed dried memorial service flowers, or burial site soil. However, a keepsake could be a few grains of sand from their favorite beach or part of a finely shredded concert/play ticket/score card your loved one enjoyed for a band/play/sport. After you have placed your loved one’s keepsake in the compartment, please follow the instructions included with the pendant and the glue, to seal the compartment.
